A New Book!

Today we received a package in the mail from Mrs. Gavalis' dad!  It was a new book called "Memoirs of a Goldfish"!  (Mr. Hoseason loves to go fishing and used to have a huge fishtank!)  We read it right away and thought it was really funny.  It tells the story of a goldfish who keeps getting more company (a snail, a crab, plants, "Mr. Bubbles," and even more) in his fishbowl and it starts feeling overcrowded!  The goldfish wishes to be alone again until he is put back in a bowl by himself - then he starts thinking about all the friends he'd made back in his old bowl!  Talk to your student about the book to see how it ended! 

One of our favorite parts was when the goldfish was disgusted by the snail that was put in his tank - it ate all the slime!  Yuck!  This will definitely be a book we read again and again!  Thanks Mr. Hoseason!   :)
